After 15 years of singing with the one community choir, Peace’n’Choir located in beautiful Mt Nebo 35 minutes from Brisbane, Kiri decided to lead her own choir.  5 years later, Kiri has been musical director for more that five choirs.  Her original choir Te Tira still meets in Bardon, Brisbane.

Sing A Song Of Sixpence

In July 2016, Kiri launched her first songbook of original compositions for community choirs.  Some are as simple as nursery rhymes, others a little more challenging.  Certainly something for everyone.  Her songs are now being sung from Cairns to Brisbane, London to New Zealand.

A sort after facilitator, Kiri brings fun and humour as well as learning and experiences to her workshops.  Designed to suit her audience, participants are readily engaged in a space that is safe, open and inviting.

You Can't Stop The Music

Music is in my bones.  And while I lead a number of choirs, I need to sing to survive.  More than a decade ago, I released a CD of originals.  A true journey of transformation.  I have also recorded with a number of local artists, reveling in the role of Doo Wop Chick.

During all of that, I remained true to my roots and sang in a choir.  I sing with two now.  And with a fabulous group of women in Brisbane, The Verandah ChiX.
